Guys, loving this game =).Some practical interface suggestions:
1. UI scaling. While something as robust as WoW's interface would be nice, it is not necessary. Having control over the scale of the UI would be fantastic though, as on my 14" 1366x768 laptop screen some of the objects and fonts are quite hard to read.
2. Usable minimap. While low res, the minimaps in SC and theoriginalAge games were actually useful, as you could easilygauge clusters of buildings and individual units alike. The dots representing player units are so tiny (on an already tiny mini map) that they areall but useless to me. Make the dots bigger (even if scale isinaccurate) or increase the size of the minimap (or both =P).
Thanks!
|||3. listing the hotkey on the hovering unit details window (like under the picture of the unit/building)
*edit*
I am aware that for some buildings it does this already. If this was omitted because of customization it would be clever to have custom hotkeys update on this window.
4. Some font might want to be reconsidered. While the font for the resources is cute, it is difficult to read on smaller screens like mine. The experience points font is WAY tinier but have no problems accurately reading it while leaned back in my chair. I do like the resource font from a visual perspective, but from a practical standpoint...
|||On usable minimap. Don't draw fancy berries and stones and etc. Draw green/grey/gold dots instead. It makes it less cluttering.|||Please do something about UI scaling, especially the minimap!
|||I can't disagree with any of those suggestions, +1 ... :)
