Whenever I wanna show a rare or epic item to one of my frinds I have to link it into trade?!?
This is spamming trade for no reason when I could simply whisper it to the person or link it in party chat
anyone else agree?

Trade and whisper I agree 100% however if it was not
linked to trade you'll find that general would become a trade spam when people
are just wanting to talk bs amongst themselves.

Totally agreewith what's been said in the original post, it doesn't make sense that I can't link an item to friends in any other channel than trade.. Please enable access for things as party, custom and whisper channels and I'm a happy cat. ;)

You use to be able to do it in other channels in Beta, chat became totally unusable and filled with moes/sales spam, it was changed to help address that problem, and i fully support that change having seen what it was like before.
