NEW CIV=Roman

Hi, why not create the Roman civilization?
The Romans were always considered the most powerful civilizations of all time, it would be nice to have them back back to age 1 at the time, maybe you could also add the famous tortoise training!
What do you think?|||

Let's review this...

Hmm... no actual idea fo how Rome plays, no civ gimmick given, no units with given age or building... this is not worthy of the index.

|||Well watch and very easy, even reading the history of Rome and easy to update! First of all the troops are the Centurions with Gladio and Shield, The Heavy Cavalry Sword only, Archers, Catapults, priests, Rams, and then add more troops do not know! How was you can update the ones we already have that are perfect! How to build buildings just selling boobies Roman buildings or other images on the internet for example, may wonder how to put the Colosseo!|||

Why don't you follow the link in my thread, read one of the civs there, and see if that format helps makes the idea readable. I await potentially good ideas though so far these seem like basic and if you say 'do not know' you don't seem to know as much as I'd like.

|||Well reading your thread I read that someone has already suggested the Roman civilization so it's all in waiting if the put or less! XD|||

I think that is a great suggestion OP.

There are no bad ideas. Just rude people that don;t agree with them.

They have already stated civs are in the works and at different stages of development. That's all we know, other than the current 2 civs (Celts and Persians) we will get sometime in Holiday 2011.

It will be interesting to see how they do the Romans, because the way most people in the world remember/think of the Romans are the Julius Caesar roman legions and then the Roman Empire. The Empire is only part of the story of the Romans.

Yes and if they fit the romans into the timeline of the game, they would still be in the republic stage of their history.

Romans would be a solid new civ, lots of potential, although the buildings wouldundoubtedlylook a lot like the greeks, since they copied their architecture.
