But if you have you would notice that the donkeys run like that have been shot and are about to die. It is kinda disturbing to watch because it looks almost realistic.

It is the head movement that gives the impression that the animal is hurt. How about making it so its head is less erratic and looks more like it is trying to eat the carrot. Maybe an occasional lunge at the carrot.

I've never shot an animal, let alone a donkey.

But to me it seems like a cartoony donkey hypotised by a carrot. Silly, but funny. Not disturbing.

The camel with the can of water even more so.
