We really need something to do with all the expereince that is earned at level 40, it is quite common in MMORPG's now to award gold for experience earned for quests.
What I am proposing is a simple system where experience earned from handing in a quest is converted to gold at a rate of around 1 : 200.
That means for every 100000 quest experience you are getting 500 gold.
If you where to include all experience earned, the rate would have to be adjusted to compesate for the fact that earning 100000 experience would become to trival.
