[Feature Suggestions] Auction House, Guilds, Independent Friendslist

Hey there. Happy premium member here. I've been enjoying the game so far, but I've been noticing a few distinct things that are missing that would immediately improve the game.

1: Auction house. Using trade chat just doesn't cut it for small things like resources and recipes, and you get drowned out in seconds (also doesn't help that you can't copy and paste trade links or set up macros for chat, you have to retype everything after you get drowned out). Also relating to this, being able to link item tags in things other than Trade. Not being able to link things even in a whisper is kind of frustrating.

2: Clans/guilds/alliances. Whatever you would want to call them, this would definitely help in bringing the community together and actually feel like an MMO. I've met a few people here and there, but the social interaction potential is extremely low. Aside from trade chat spamming, pvp and the occasional co-op mission, it feels pretty barren. So naturally, these groups need activites to participate in together. FFA's, 3vs3, 4vs4, 5vs5, Guild vs Guild, etc. Maybe take it a step further with some kind of guild fortress region that everyone in your guild contributes and builds up, giving members stats and benefits, perhaps unique units, and ideally another battleground that an enemy guild could siege.

3: Independent Friendslist. I don't think I'm the only one that feels kind of weird adding random people to my windows live friendslist, which I feel is kind of theequivalentto Blizzard's real id - should really only be used for people you know and actively play with. An independent friendslist would be great for adding trading partners and some random co-op people or pvp buddies who you don't really know.

Thanks for the fun so far, guys.

Do a pvp system like this. the biggest risiko of the world ;)

PS:

free = 16 + 12 storehouse space
pay = 16 + 12 + 12 + 12 + 12storehouse space

this isn't f2p...

|||/\ I suggested something similar to that on another thread, about page 5. It'd totally make this game kick ***. They should really consider it.
|||yeah, for sure.|||

they could put ah like a market place in our city that can be build after lvl 10 and wend you go to a player city and click on theyr market place you can see what he is selling

they should increase the storage for f2p players with 1 more warehouse or let us use the 20 slots storage

that is a possibility and i was initially pretty surprised you couldn't designate a shop to put your own items in. the problem with that though is it still requires networking and trade channel use, because there's no real way for someone to wander into your city unless you're already advertising it or they're friends with you.

that is unless they design the auction house to take you to whatever region its being sold in at a player designated shop, but that'd be pretty terribly inefficient. think just forconvenience, maybe just make a trade region somewhere or allow an auction house building in your city.

|||bump|||aggre best pvp sistem ! it could be really fun liek on age of empires|||bump|||bump|||bump|||bump|||

totally agree on #2 ....... would go a long way in improving the MMO aspect of the game. plus new players can benefit greatly by having guild veterans to guide them out.

and the chat system kinda sucks :(

If they want to add some sort of place for an auction house or other general trading places, why don't they add in an NPC city for them. They can have dailies for high level players for rare/epic goods (co/op and elite options), and stores of every type of material/recipe/etc. to fill in the city that only lists player made materials. In these shops, you can list your own materials if you visit them.

For Greece, the city could be Athens. Bam perfect city. For Egypt, the city could be Alexandria. Bam perfect city. If neither suits your bill, you could make a world trading city and add in a Phoenicia region (Tyre). It could be minimalistic just like the Crete atm. Sounds interesting? It should!

|||They know about this Auction house idea since beta. They just released the game way too early and left out tons of important stuff. Like being able to play multiplayer with your OWN world region, and not including an auction house. I could name a couple more things, they know about it. But the question is if they make this game a rather small cashcow or expand it to a true great game that it can become.
